A new event for business leaders involved in crash repair and motor claims industries is being held later this month.

Business consultancy Norton Consulting has organized a one day conference, entitled New Solutions, to discuss issues faced by the sector.

“The focus of the conference is on identifying those new market-driven trends in accident repair and motor claims, and seeking new opportunities for growth and development for both suppliers and buyers,” says Eddie Longworth, managing director of Norton Consulting.

“The business practices of the past will not suit the needs of the future, and this conference is clear that all the players in claims and accident repair will need to have an eye on innovation and future change,” he adds.

Speakers will include Barry Smith, CEO of Fortis Insurance. Delegates are likely to want to question him about Fortis’s recent contract tender process, which led to the end of several long-standing repairers. EurotaxGlass’s chief executive Kevin Gaskell and Ian Hughes of Consumer Intelligence will also give presentations.

Bookings for the conference, held on May 17 at Birmingham’s Hilton Metropole Hotel, can be made by calling 01386 751271.
