David Anderson, a founding partner of Anderson Clark Motor Repairs of Inverness, has been killed in a motoring accident.

It occurred on June 4 when Anderson's motorbike collided with a car on the A82 near Fort Augustus.

Anderson, 39, started the business ten years ago with his friend Graham Clark. Together they built up a business that has become a household name in the Inverness area with growth also coming from their appointment as a Bosch Service Centre when the network was set up in 2003.

Clark said he was devastated at the loss. "David was not only my business partner but also my long-standing and very close friend. His death is a great loss personally and to the business that we have built together. My thoughts now are with his wife Allison and their two young daughters, Louise and Rachel to whom David was a terrific husband and father."
