Inchcape Fleet Solutions has signed an exclusive agreement with Association of British Insurers approved supplier, Accident Exchange, to provide replacement vehicles to customers involved in non-fault accidents.

At present, Inchcape Fleet Solutions provides accident management to 16,000 of its 48,000 strong car parc. Statistically, 30 per cent of that number will be involved in a crash of some degree each year, with a quarter of those then eligible for this new service.

"This is a no-risk, no-investment, but added value service for Inchcape Fleet Solutions and its customers," said Tim Eaves, Accident Exchange corporate sales director. "It's a unique win-win partnership."

Former Europcar and Kenning director, Eaves, will oversee the new relationship.

With a fleet of 3,000 of its own, Accident Exchange will work alongside the in-house accident management team of Inchcape Fleet Solutions to deliver like-for-like replacement passenger and LCV vehicles under the credit hire terms.

Accident Exchange is in advanced discussions with a number of other leading contract hire and fleet management companies.
