Since the programme was launched in April, XPart says its Close-Call response team saved 80% of cars that would otherwise have been classified as a write-off. Cars which have been saved under the programme include Rover 200’s, 25’s and 75’s as well as the latest MGF and MG ZT models.
Under the scheme, assessors calling the Close-Call team are required to supply a full original estimate of the parts required.
A case number is then allocated to the claim and XPart’s team review the prices of the replacement parts and send back a revised offer to the assessor and repairer within four working hours.
If the revised price is accepted, XPart completes the order and sends the parts directly to its nominated XPart distributor.
The initiative is available to all crash repair centres across the UK. Vehicle assessors or repair centres wishing to make a claim or requiring further information can contact the ‘Close Call’ team directly on 0845 603 4451 or by email to email@example.com.
