TVR has unveiled plans for a new headquarters in Lanacashire, which will house its management, R&D, and sales and marketing teams.

The carmaker will move to the new base in Lancaster by the end of the year. It will also house a museum, archive library and guest facilities.

Final production of its sports cars will remain in Blackpool, its home town since 1947, but at a new plant in the Squires Gate area. Some sub-assembly may be done outside of Blackpool, however, TVR says that is still subject to discussion.

TVR recently launched a training programme in conjunction with Blackpool and The Fylde College to provide TVR-approved apprenticeships up to level III City & Guilds, and technician training up to master level.
