For the first time in the UK, a bodykit distributor is offering bodyshops the chance to become an approved fitter for its products.

Nemesis UK, the performance division of Fuel Parts UK, is looking to establish a network of bodyshop outlets that will service their customers by fitting body panels and customized paintwork.

“We’re looking for 150 to 200 bodyshops in the UK and possibly Ireland to make up our network,” says Lloyd Deakin, manager of Nemisis UK.

Any potential partner will need to be experienced working with glassfibre and body panels, and be able to deliver a high-quality paint finish.

Deakin says: “It would be good if they have VBRA accreditation, as it shows that they have achieved a certain level of quality. But fitting bodypanels is more of a thing for enthusiasts and the bodyshops we’re looking for will need to be experienced in car modification.”

Bodyshops that become part of the Nemesis UK network will be able to set their own prices on hourly rates and also on their paint. “One of the key benefits for bodyshops that work with us is that they won’t have to wait to be paid,” says Deakin. “The work and payment will be instant and it is also highly profitable.”

Nemesis UK, previously Nemesis Performance, was purchased out of receivership earlier this year by Magnaflow UK. The company was relocated from Colchester to Bromsgrove.
