Ford pre-registered more cars than its competitors in June.

According to figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, Ford’s tally topped 153 units, with a retail value of £1,153,101.32.

Just behind Ford was Vauxhall that pre-registered 145 cars.

The Supply of New Cars Order 2000 requires motor manufacturers to publish the number of pre-registered cars supplied and the gross income received by suppliers from selling those pre-registered cars. This information is published on a monthly basis.
