Blakemores, the Birmingham-based law firm, has been appointed to provide full accident management services to the Dixon Motor Group.

The solicitors will organize vehicle repairs, arrange a courtesy car in partnership while the damaged vehicle is being repaired or replaced, organize early rehabilitation treatment for injuries, deal with personal injury and uninsured losses, and recover 100% of the compensation awarded for all injuries and losses sustained.

David Storm, group F&I manager of Dixon, says: “The product will provide substantial additional benefits to Dixon customers at no cost to them whatsoever, which in turn adds value to the sale of our vehicles and should help us to retain more customers.”

Blakemores will also offer a free legal helpline, a step-by-step guide to the claims process and the solicitors will ensure that clients do not incur any liability for payment of legal expenses.

Dixon Motor Group offers new and used cars at 45 locations across the Midlands and the north of England. It has a 500,000-strong client database, for which Blakemores already supplies civil litigation support.

Speaking of the combined service now offered by Dixon, Rachael Palmer, operational manager at Blakemores, says: “We hope to see more motor dealerships offering similar services to their customers in the near future.”
