Work has started on a £30 million, seven floor Audi site in London.

West London Audi is expected to be completed by spring 2008. It will be the world’s largest Audi centre, offering 17,667 square meters of retail, service, office, conference, exhibition and museum space.

The new car display will be level with the M4 elevated section, placing the Audi range in full view of millions of drivers entering and leaving London.

Director of Audi UK Jeremy Hicks said: "We are delighted that work on a suitably spectacular home for Audi in London is about to get under way.

"West London Audi will be an extraordinary showcase both for Audi cars and for the philosophy of Vorsprung durch Technik, and couldn’t really be in a much more strategically perfect location. This is another major milestone in the remarkable rise of the Audi brand in the UK."
