Citroen has launched special rally editions of its C4 and C2, inspired by World Rally Champion, Sebastien Loeb.

Citroen’s C4 ‘by Loeb’ is powered by a 180hp 2.0i 16V engine, capable of hitting 141mph and accelerating from 0 to 62mph in just over eight seconds, for a recommended retail price of £14,995.

In addition, the C4 by Loeb line-up also offers 110hp 1.6 litre petrol and diesel versions, with RRPs starting from £12,795.

C4 by Loeb specification includes flared wheel arches, rear spoiler, 17-inch white or grey alloys and ‘by Loeb’ badging. There will be 400 of the C4 special editions available for UK customers.

Citroen’s C2, also gets the ‘by Loeb’ treatment. There will be 310 of the C2 versions available in the UK, priced at a RRP of £9,995. The C2 ‘by Loeb’ comes with a 125bhp 1.6i 16V and can reach a top speed of 126mph.

All models come with air conditioning, a CD player, front electric windows and at least four airbags as standard, while the 180hp 2.0i 16V C4 adds laminated side windows, an alarm, rear parking sensors and a five CD autochanger.
