The deal adds Nissan showrooms in Slough, High Wycombe and Eastcote.
Naeem Hanif, managing director of WLN’s holding company, Hanif Automotive, says: “This expansion represents a significant milestone for WLN, and the additional sites will complement our existing businesses perfectly.”
Hanif says the Dan Perkins business is “struggling” and had been going downhill for a few years. Nevertheless, he expects to get it into profit in three to six months, and build turnover from the current £18m up to £35m.
The dealerships will continue to trade as Dan Perkins, but will incorporate group working practices and benefit from centralized sales support and administration.
Hanif has moved in general managers promoted from other WLN sites, plans training for staff, will re-introduce a trade parts business and wants to update two sites.
