The latest industry appointements.

Steve Field has joined AM50 No4 bodyshop group DWS as managing director. Field, who has worked for Glass’s, Nationwide and Audatex, replaces David Smithyes in February. DWS owner Smithyes becomes chairman.

Phil Everitt has been appointed managing director of Mahle Filter Systems. Everitt has been finance director of Mahle since 2002 and has spent more than 25 years in the automotive industry working for the likes of TRW/Lucas and Rover.

Janet Edwards has joined the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) as head of finance to replace Dennis Jeffrey, who retired in December. In addition to her finance role, Edwards has joined as company secretary, as well as taking over as secretary to the board. The FLA’s policy team has recruited Richard Bostock as senior policy adviser and Paul Harrison as policy adviser.

Pebley Beach Group has hired former retained firefighter Phil Grinnel as a motor technician. The 50-year-old will be working at the group’s Suzuki sites at Cirencester and Wroughton.

Brothers Keith and Kevin Prince have joined the Westover Group to manage its bodycare centre on Salisbury’s Churchfields Industrial Estate. The pair started their motor careers in 1979 and have brought a team of three with them to work with them at the bodycare centre.
