The Rapid Buying Group, has decided to re-appoint Clive Wilson, managing director of SES Autoparts, as its chairman.

Wilson was taken on initially as a temporary measure, but the group, consisting of A E Cook, Car Spares, E K Motor Factors, General Traffic, Minorfern Ltd, NPA Motor Factors, Parkers, SES Autoparts and TMS decided to appoint him on a permanent basis.

Adam Umarji of General Traffic has been appointed as vice chairman to oversee any meetings that Wilson is unable to attend.

Wilson said: “The members are working well together and we have set ourselves some clear goals and objectives for 2007. We are in no major rush to grow the group, but would hope to expand during the course of next year.”
