Suzuki GB has awarded its top apprentices for at its Apprentice of the Year awards last week.

A memorial award was also announced to celebrate the life of Suzuki apprentice student Tim Crewdson, who lost his life in a car accident earlier this year.

In the main awards, Michael Drynan of Saltire Suzuki in Edinburgh scooped the year-one award, with Mitchell Freeman of Crescent Suzuki in Dorset taking the year-two title. For year-three students, it was Laura Hooper of Performance Suzuki in Tewksbury who would scoop the final award, adding to her ‘outstanding technical student’ title, awarded by the Institute of the Motor Industry earlier this year.

Rachel Davies of Millenium Motorcycles was presented the Tim Crewdson Award for Outstanding Effort & Achievement, in a presentation by Crewsdon’s parents.
