Citroen this morning unveiled the new C5 to journalists in Paris.

Due to enter the UK in early 2008, C5 is longer and wider than the present model and will be positioned at the top end of the large family car segment.

Citroen claims it will feature the “highest standards of occupant comfort”, with strong acoustic soundproofing, optional self-levelling suspension with comfort, normal and sport modes, fully adjustable front seats with a massage function for the driver and high levels of equipment.

It will be offered with a choice of two petrol and four turbodiesel engines.
