Ian White has taken independent control of TW White & Sons’ Milford Mazda site, which will now be known as Guildford Mazda, following a demerger.

The deal was funded with the assistance of NatWest.

Staff at the Mazda dealership has been retained and a business development manager has been recruited to explore other market opportunities for growth. Mike Green has also been recruited as the dealership’s new general sales manager.

White, managing director of Guildford Mazda, said: “I am delighted with the positive approach NatWest took in delivering this transaction and the opportunity it has given me to take complete ownership of a successful dealership.

“It is refreshing to have the support of a trusted business-banking partner that shares my passion and innovation to grow and succeed. I look forward to working closely with the NatWest team and building on the brand and reputation of Guildford Mazda.”

White is the oldest son of Tom White, owner of TW White & Sons.
