The new affinity scheme offers Matalan cardholders 20% off an MoT, 15% off a service or 10% off mechanical repairs to their vehicle. Every Matalan cardholder who takes their vehicle to a Nationwide Autocentre will also receive a free Powermaxx fuel cleaning package worth £20.
The special offers are open to all Matalan cardholders and those booking a full 70 point service will also receive a free Duxback windscreen treatment worth £19.99, a winter essentials car pack worth £5.99 as well as Road Safety Pack worth £26.99.
A spokesman for Nationwide Autocentres said: "We have recently embarked on an ambitious expansion programme, acquiring new sites as well as launching brand new purpose built centres across the UK. Supermarket giant Tesco recently announced a partnership with Motorpoint, the car supermarket, to use its clubcard points for a discount on Motorpoint vehicles. Tesco is also in partnership with Nationwide and uses a similar scheme to offer servicing work at a discount using clubcard points.
