The scope of the contract has grown over three years with VRS now providing a telesales and customer relationship management solution for the Czech manufacturer.
Skoda retailers are able to register interest over a wide range of search criteria. When the vehicles come into stock they are contacted by the customer relations team. This process, alongside web and email marketing, has led to a year on year increase in the speed of the remarketing process. The remarketing scheme handles over 3,500 vehicles a year for Skoda.
Paul Grimsley, Skoda’s national rental and used vehicle manager, said: "Our continued growth in both retail and fleet sectors has been due to the excellent whole life costs of the Skoda product. Key to these whole life costs are robust residual values which our remarketing partners helps us to maintain and develop."
Jacqui le Put, VRS sales and marketing director, said: "We have grown our relationship with Skoda and its retail network by putting customer service first. We go to great lengths to constantly challenge customers on what they want from us and work hard to make it happen. Innovation has ensured that the popularity and effectiveness of this route to market is at an all time high."
