Hyundai-Kia has extended its football sponsorship deal with UEFA for the Euro 2008 championships in Austria and Switzerland.

The Euro 2008 agreement will see Hyundai and Kia become the official supplier of vehicles for the event.

The package of agreements will entitle Kia to promote its brand on perimeter boards around the stadiums and through official UEFA TV broadcast partners in more than 200 countries worldwide, during the event, and use the event’s official logo in company media materials.

The Euro 2008 deal is part of a wider partnership package agreed by the two organisations – known as the EUROTOP partnership. An agreement that, in addition to Euro 2008, allows Hyundai-Kia to participate as an official sponsor of a number of UEFA’s national-team competitions, including the European U-21 championships in 2007 and 2009, and the Women’s European Football Championship in 2009.
