Every RAC inspected vehicle comes with a written RAC report on its condition, covering a number of physical checks that ensures it is mechanically and structurally sound.
An independent study by Carter & Carter of two dealerships, one with the RAC inspected vehicle programme and the other without; found that the dealership that had signed up could benefit from a 25% increase in sales and 33% increase in gross profit.
Daniel Burgess, director of automotive for HPI, said: “All the confidence that customers receive from the programme on the dealer’s forecourt is now available online. The strong RAC brand provides a real seal of approval on used cars.
“Selling cars doesn’t get easier than this; the additional service means that car buyers can search dealers’ listed vehicles online at any time, from anywhere.”
