Mark Pearce and Matthew Pearce have become the first brothers to achieve accreditation in the Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) scheme.

Both work at Marshall’s Peugeot in Newbury and obtained the diagnostic technician level in the scheme.

Mark Pearce, master technician at Marshall’s, said: “To be officially recognised by the ATA for my skills as a technician is a credit personally and also to the Peugeot training courses I have undertaken.”

ATA is supported by all major vehicle manufacturers and service and repair organisations, as well as the Department of Trade and Industry, Trading Standards and consumer groups.
