Alfa Romeo has appointed Frank Stephenson to head up its styling centre near Milan, Italy.

Stephenson will replace Wolfgang Egger who left the role earlier this year.

He will report directly to recently appointed Lorenzo Ramaciotti, head of style for all Fiat Group car brands and Maserati.

Stephenson has lived and worked in Spain and graduated from the Art Center College of Design at Pasadena, California.

In April 2005 he was appointed head of the Fiat, Lancia and LCVs Styling Centre, a position that he has held until today.
