Today Fiat Auto (UK) Limited has changed its name to Fiat Group Automobiles UK Ltd.

This change is "consistent with other affiliates and with the new corporate culture at the Fiat Group", the company says, and involves a new company logo which can be seen on the company’s latest product, the new Fiat Bravo, which goes on sale here tomorrow.

"The new configuration will not alter relationships with employees, dealers, and suppliers in any way. On the contrary, improved brand name recognition will promote better relations with the sales network, customers, and partners," Fiat said in a statement.
