In a bid to increase its operations, the Leeds-based consumer remarketing firm Autoquake has taken on three new staff members as well as relocating to a larger site.

Andy Norman joins as sales director, Andrew Hooper as operations director and Jagjivan Ram takes on the role of software development director.

Norman joins from Motability Finance, where he was a national field team manager, and Hooper comes from Walon UK. Ram previously worked in online departments for Toyota GB and Holiday Autos.

The 30-member Auto-quake team will work from the new centre, which features a secure compound that can hold up to 200 vehicle as well as a PDI facility. Later this year, a photo studio will be added.

“We’ve seen phenomenal success across the business over the last six months with a continued rise in sales as consumer online spend shows no signs of slowing,” says Jeanette Moskovits, chief executive officer at Autoquake.

“To meet the demand from private buyers for quality ex-fleet cars we’ve had to move our operations in Leeds. We’re on the lookout for further handover centres across the UK.”
