Lotus Dealers who use HPI’s online Lotus Exchange system now have a direct link to their warranty provider, once a used car sale is clinched.

The link to the Warranty Group will act as a ‘pop up’, encouraging the dealer to file for a warranty application when updating the vehicle’s status to ‘sold’.

The prompt will request the vehicle registration mark which, due to the existing links between the Warranty Group and HPI, means the vehicle’s information will be automatically stored, saving the dealer administration time.

Daniel Burgess, director of automotive for HPI, said: “The direct link requires minimal effort when applying for a warranty for a used Lotus car.

“The automated redirection to the Warranty Group site acts as a streamline process, helping to ensure approved used Lotus dealers can access a 12 month warranty alongside a compulsory HPI check, for each and every vehicle.”
