Fleet service business FMG Support has hosted its latest Partner Support forum, focused on offering advice and support to its members in the repair industry who are looking to achieve PAS 125 accreditation.

The event, held in Huddersfield, brought together Partner Support members from across the country to share ideas on moving the repair industry forward.

FMG head of supply management Michael Huthart unveiled the company’s top 10 initiatives to help bodyshops respond to market conditions and changes in the industry.

They include combining method and technology and improving quality, service and efficiency through electronic data transfer, automated approvals and continual costing reviews.

“Regulation is becoming increasingly important in our industry following the introduction of legislation like the Kitemark, but ensuring our partners understand how to apply the new standards for the benefit of their businesses is vital,” said Huthart.

“Our 10-step plan offers suggestions on how to do this. Regular communication with all of our members means FMG Support is always on hand to support our partners in achieving PAS 125 accreditation.”
