Tata Motors is expected to appoint a senior Ford executive to run Jaguar and Land Rover if its bid to buy the brands succeeds, according to Indian media reports.

The Indian reports did not make it clear whether the existing CEO of Jaguar and Land Rover Geoff Polites was the executive in mind.

Talks between Ford and Tata and Land Rover-Jaguar stakeholders including pension trustees and the Unite union could extend into February, according to the Economic Times.
