Motor Tool Unlimited has launched a new lead management tool to increase accurate recording of customer enquiries.

It is the brainchild of performance coach John Driscoll following 25 years in senior management positions with Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Sytner.

He said: “It’s very difficult for sales executives to give their full attention to every customer that comes through the door and it’s the nature of the business that their database of customers multiplies all the time.

The AEM08 system allows receptionists to record all enquiries. It is in place at eight dealerships.

Driscoll said: “Sales executives don’t want to show the true amount of outstanding enquiries they have because it means more work. It’s giving the dealer principal a stick to beat them with.”

The AEM08 system is designed to sit alongside a current DMS system and costs £1,000. Driscoll works with the dealership to tailor the system to the users.
