How did you get into the automotive business?
Colour blindness. I was destined for the Irish military until colour blindness was identified. I went on to study automotive management at the Dublin Institute of Technology.What does your job entail?
To ensure Suzuki GB supports its dealer network of all products groups to maximize profitability through customer retention.

How will your job change over the next few years?
The biggest challenge is to adapt to deliver consumer demands and expectations.

Progressed through Suzuki since joining in 2001. Prior to that worked with Hartwell.

What advice would you give to young people joining the industry?
Be prepared to listen and learn from your mistakes.

What’s the worst career move you’ve ever made?
Luckily, I have never made one.

And the best?
Moving from retail to a manufacturer role because it allows me to see matters from both perspectives.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
Still working and enjoying it.
