Nissan’s designers and engineers have put emphasis on making the car more muscular, sharing design cues with the new GT-R.

The new 3.7-litre engine will have more horsepower than the outgoing model at 329bhp and will be mated to either a new seven-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters or six-speed manual.

The new 370Z’s wheelbase is nearly 100mm shorter than the previous generation 350Z (2550mm versus 2650mm), while overall length is reduced by 70mm (4250mm versus 4320mm).

At the same time, the overall width has been increased by 33mm and the rear track by 55mm.

European deliveries will start in April next year.
