Workers at Jaguar's Castle Bromwich factory are due to stop production for three weeks over Christmas.

Staff will finish on Friday and not go back to work until January 12.

Jaguar's stablemate Land Rover is also closing its Solihull plant over the festive period from December 23 to January 12, reports the Birmingham Post website.

Land Rover sales fell by nearly two-thirds in November while Jaguar's dropped marginally year on year, helped partly by the success of the XF model.
