Two 30-second commercials inform the public that Mitsubishi has renewed all of its models in recent years and encourage them to come to a dealer for a test drive, with the question “Have you driven a Mitsubishi lately?”
The 4x4 range advertisement depicts a L200 Diamond in a working commercial environment, a Shogun Diamond long wheelbase on a rocky incline to emphasise its off-road credentials, and an Outlander Diamond set against a snowy forest backdrop, highlighting that Outlander’s 2.0 litre diesel engine makes it the lowest CO2 emitting 7-seat 4x4 available.
The passenger car range advertisement focuses on Colt Coupe Cabriolet for £9,999, the Colt hatch range available for less than £7,000, and new Lancer for less than £15,000, using a GS4 4-door saloon against a background of fireworks.
Jim Tyrrell, Mitsubishi’s UK managing director, said: “Our entire vehicle range is stronger than ever before and it deserves greater exposure and profile via the TV”.
