Prestige accident management provider, Accident Exchange, has signed an exclusive contract with online motoring community PistonHeads.com to provide replacement vehicles in the event of a non-fault accident to its members.

The deal gives Accident Exchange access to up to 1.3 million Pistonheads users, many of whom are drivers of performance and prestige vehicles. The service, which they can use for free, is branded Pistonheads Accident Aftercare.

Under the agreement, all repair work will be directed through the Accident Exchange authorised network, which has more than 1,300 dealer and bodyshop partners.

"Statistically, the average prestige dealer operating an accident management programme will only capture 35 percent of motorists involved in a non-fault," explained Steve Evans, chief executive of Accident Exchange.

"This unique association with PistonHeads means we will be able to broaden the net and help our partners capture an even larger customer base at no cost."
