Fiat is running an online venture which allows users to come up with customisation designs for the Grande Punto. Six finalists will work with the carmaker's designers to create mass-produced graphics which could be sold through its dealers.

Two overall winners will each receive a gold ingot worth 5,000 Euros (£3,923).

The initiative follows the '500 Wants You' community and blogs on the Geneva Motor Show as the carmaker's latest venture to foster consumer participation and cooperation on the internet. Users can log onto www.stickerlab.fiatpunto.it to register to customise the exterior of a Grande Punto in their individual and creative way.
