A car dealership in Limerick, Republic of Ireland, that was caught clocking mileage readings will not be prosecuted or fined.

The National Consumer Agency began investigating Orange Motors Limited at 60 Keane Street in Killalee last Summer following a number of complaints from customers.

The agency identified 4 cars, which had been sold to unsuspecting buyers with a reduced mileage reading.

The garage has given an undertaking to compensate affected customers and cease the misleading commercial practice.
