Aixam Mega has appointed Riverside Garage to sell and service its range of ultra-light Mega MultiTrucks in Ashford, Kent.

Gary Stewart, director of Riverside Garage decided to expand into retail when the business moved into new and larger premises earlier this year.

Stewart said: "Our new premises are double the size of the previous ones, which gives us space both to expand the servicing, MoT and repair operations, and to offer additional benefits to our customers, many of whom have been with us for years."

Mega Multitrucks are compact, ultra-light utility vehicles, available in five different body configurations and with a choice of diesel or electric engines.

The diesel models offer a manufacturer quoted 80mpg and the electric models can be recharged from standard plug sockets for a range of 60 miles on a single charge.
