Retail Automotive Alliance (RAA) has given a £1 million stationery contract to OyezStraker.

The stationary supplier, which trades as Statplus, will deal with all 21 shareholder independent motor dealer groups of the RAA.

RAA wanted a supplier which has national coverage, a local knowledge approach, professional service, best price and a positive attitude.

Other important tender requirements included the provision of fixed pricing of products for 12 months, online ordering and an order tracking system, next day (same day) national distribution capability, electronic invoicing and the back-up of a disaster recovery plan.

Nine stationery suppliers were invited to apply for the tender, which was won by OyezStraker in March.

RAA said the contract will be cost-saving and simplify stationery ordering across the RAA shareholders resulting in increased business efficiency.

Marc Matthew, RAA chairman, said: "It is with great pleasure that we have undertaken our stationery supply deal with OyezStraker.

"This contract is worth a considerable sum to the RAA shareholders, and it’s a tremendous deal forOyezStraker as a premium approved supplier to all 21 members of the RAA."
