Management at Pendragon's Evans Halshaw dealership in Brighton fear the dealership will be a victim of the dealer group's restructuring.

Pendragon has remained silent in recent weeks when AM has repeatedly attempted to question chief executive Trevor Finn on exactly what redundancies and site sales or closures are being considered.

Pendragon has shed 57 dealerships from its Evans Halshaw and Stratstone divisions in the last 12 months, according to AM100 records.

The Brighton & Hove Argus is reporting Peter Burnell, a manager at Evans Halshaw Ford in the town, as saying he thinks his dealership is due for closure but has had no official confirmation.

Caffyns is rumoured to be Ford's chosen replacement to operate in the town.
