Tesla Motors has appointed Automotive PR to handle its UK launch of its 125mph electric-powered roadster this autumn.

The car, which accelerates from 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and has a range of 220 miles on one charge of its lithium ion batteries, will be showcased next month at the British International Motor Show and the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Automotive PR will be charged with handling media relations activity for the launch.

Tesla Motors is considering following the sports car with a family saloon design, to appeal to London motorists.
