The three-year deal will provide claims management and credit hire to all motorists insured by Toyota’s associated insurance company, Aioi Motor and General, which underwrites Toyota Motor Insurance.
Helphire subsidiary Swift Prestige Hire will be the recommended supplier of credit hire to the entire Toyota and Lexus dealership and approved bodyshop networks, through Toyota and Lexus Accident Assistance.
Helphire said the expected hire volumes are commercially sensitive but it expects “dramatic growth in hire numbers delivering significant additional profit to Toyota”.
Vehicles have been sourced from Toyota, and a team has been established at the Helphire call centre in Northwich.
Helphire is working with Toyota on new marketing material to support the programmes.
