The acquisition is aimed at boosting the network’s presence in the Midlands, following new branches opened in Swindon in February and Hinckley last August.
Rebranding of the 15,000sq ft centre has already begun, and JCC is bringing it in line with the rest of its network.
All of BW Chequer’s work providers and around 85% of its staff have been retained, while Nick Bellinger from the management team at JCC’s Swindon branch will join as general manager.
JCC chief executive Barry Whittles said: “The acquisition of this new branch falls in line with our strategy to develop the business strategically.
“We have a philosophy of providing regional cover with local care and, with sites already at Swindon and Hinckley, the branch at Banbury is perfectly located to enable us to improve our service to customers in this area.”
