Ford’s Focus, C-Max and Kuga models will be the first in the range to be offered with digital audio broadcasting (DAB) radios as an option.

DAB offers drivers a wider choice of radio stations without interference which can affect traditional analogue AM and FM broadcasts.

The rest of the Ford range will be offered with Sony’s DAB system later this year.

Prices range from £100 to upgrade to DAB on the Focus and C-Max Titanium models. Customers will have to pay £300 to upgrade to a DAB radio on Style, Zetec, ST-1 and Econetic trim levels. The DAB is standard on the Kuga Titanium model.
