Skoda's has revealed prices for the first range of options available on its new Superb, which goes on sale in the UK on September 18.

Park assist, a system which identifies and steers the vehicle into a parallel parking space, will be available on the SE and Elegance models for £350 and on the entry level S model for £630.

The system is features on other VW Group models, but it’s the first time it had been included for a Skoda vehicle.

Other options include a multi-function Bluetooth steering wheel with radio and telephone controls, as well as the Volkswagen Group’s DSG gearbox with paddle shift.

S and SE trim levels can be fitted with a tyre pressure monitor for £100 and new Superb buyers can increase rear passenger safety with rear side airbags for £250.
