Liberty Electric Cars has appointed London-based Envy Motors as its first dealership.

The showroom, which specialises in low emission vehicles, will sell Liberty’s electric Range Rover.

Barry Shrier, Liberty Electric Cars chief executive, said the vehicle is “a perfect fit for Envy Motor’s business model”.

Envy Motors are taking £1000 deposits to secure orders for 2009 production of the electric Range Rover.

Martin Kadhim, Envy Motors managing director, said interest being shown in the car was “very encouraging”.
