How did you get into the automotive business?
As a graduate, my employers decided to put me with one of the toughest women in property who was also the most respected in the automotive sector; she was certainly the best person to learn from.

What does your job entail?
Buying, selling and valuing. Negotiating rents on automotive property.

How will your job change over the next few years?
There will be greater opportunities to develop our business in mainland Europe and Far Eastern markets.

What advice would you give to young people joining the industry?
You need to graft, roll up your sleeves and treat everybody with the same respect.

What’s the worst career move you’ve ever made?
Painting the wrong house!

Running a dealership – I don’t think so!
