East Anglian dealer group Cecil and Larter has opened an all-makes parts factoring operation.

The facility, in Bury St Edmunds, will supply original equipment equivalent aftermarket components to independent garages in the region via Xpart All-Makes.

It becomes the 240th company to join the parts programme.

Xpart All-Makes provides business and marketing support, help in identifying and targeting key customers, and a dedicated stock management process.

Cecil and Larter, which has Volvo, Saab and Seat franchises, will stock 3,500 product lines initially but may expand this depending on demand.

Nathan Warnett, Cecil and Larter parts manager, said: “We recognised the opportunity to add to our franchise operation by supplying parts for all makes of car.

“Stocking a wider range of parts allows us to provide our customers with a comprehensive parts offering which satisfies all of their parts requirements from a single source.”
