Mitchells Renault in Lowestoft has celebrated one apprentice becoming a fully-qualified technician as another joins the dealership’s workshop training scheme.

Phil Hamblin, Mitchells Renault’s current apprentice has graduated from the three-year long scheme where he received training on the servicing and MOT requirements of Renault cars and vans, as well as gaining knowledge of Renault vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.

Hamblin’ s colleague, 18-year-old Scott Smith, has recently begun his three-year apprenticeship with in- house training at Mitchells Renault along with classroom based work at a training centre in Doncaster.

Mitchells Renault’s after sales manager Karl Gooderham said: “Mitchells Renault has always been committed to investing, and as well as a substantial refurbishment of the showroom, we’re still offering local youngsters the chance to start a rewarding career in the motor industry.”
