Bill Heaney Car Body Centre wants to improve its service in 2009 with its move to a new state-of-the-art bodyshop.

The Newcastle-based body repairer has invested £1.5 million in a one-acre site, including a modern reception and customer lounge, vehicle handover bay, drive-through spraybooths and the latest accident repair equipment.

The Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate location also brings it closer to a main concentration of car dealerships.

This year marks 30 years for the repairer. It is the longest serving body repairer in the Porsche network. The company has also held approved BMW repairer status since 1999. It also markets its own accident aftercare service with free nationwide recovery.

Ron Gladstone, director, said: “Our team is highly professional and very experienced and with a new home like this, customers can be more confident than ever about the quality service they will receive.”
