Daihatsu has added to its dealer network, appointing Cromer Car Centre in Norfolk.

The independent dealer which also holds Perodua and Proton franchises will sell new and used Daihatsu cars along with offering an aftersales service.

Dealer principal Robert Richmond said: “In these unprecedented trading times, we are thrilled to be working in partnership with a company known for making reliable, affordable, low-emission, economical cars.

“We are very optimistic about generating new business as well as looking after our established clientele too.”

The Japanese carmaker signed up 20 new dealers during 2008 and currently has 98 UK showrooms.
