Rob Whalley has been appointed managing director of IFM Europe, a subsidiary of Australia-based parts solutions firm Infomedia.

Whalley recently headed the northern Europe operation for carmaker support group MSX International, prior to which he was managing director of Experian's automotive division.

Infomedia established IFM Europe in 2004 with the aim of replacing third party distributors and selling and supporting Infomedia products, including electronic parts catalogues, throughout Europe.
